Hi all,

Hopefully I'm still getting some interested readership. Not a lot of comments really so as far as I know this could just be the glorified journal I was talking about when I started it. Anyway, this was more because I really wanted to send out these absolutely hilarious links than me really having anything to say. That said, I am currently watching the Daily Show's spin on the Sarah Palin speech yesterday, in which John Stewart refers to her as the "thrilla from wasilla" and also questions her attempt to use the American soldier to attack the media: "so how about, in honor of the American soldier, ya quit makin things up." Hmmm...

Some interesting things out here in politics today, including Nancy Pelosi saying that there will be a healthcare vote before the recess. Good luck. Also, that Rep. Perriello of Virginia will not run against the candidate people out here most feared. And slowly I am learning how to really follow these races, so maybe I'll provide some more detail later.
