An executive decision has been made to update this a little more often. Unfortunately it was made the exact same week that business really picked up around here. That said, goals must be met.
Believe I mentioned earlier in the week that we set a goal to beat our previous highs in blog posting, which were at about an average of two each day. Currently ActGreen is blowing that out of the water, with 15 posts in the first five days of August alone. Doesn't sound so impressive? Thirteen have gone up since Monday.
Even the Heat Is On website has seen improvements this week, with additions on the blog. Just wait until the news picks up again.
Some more interesting stuff has been happening though, including more forged letters found, this time written by coal advocates.
Some town halls across the country are becoming battle grounds for members of Congress. This could be good or bad (that whole free speech thing), but it's turning into a political mess than has some even questioning the legality of actions the White House has taken.
Bill Clinton upstages his wife, again (and does a pretty good piece of negotiating too).
Yesterday was some guy named Barack Obama's birthday. Well, we think so. She, the lawyer, dentist and real estate agent, still disgrees. This woman also thinks that because one of his parents wasn't born here that he can't be a citizen. Yet, wait, listen to that accent. No wonder Ann Coulter calls her a crock (don't take my word for it, watch the video).
Other links:
Eli Manning not only has a Super Bowl ring, nor has he just seen a girl naked, he's rich. Really rich. Like New York rich. Don't worry, no parental advisory necessary.
The new BCS. No, Washington does not make it. Read the comments the writers make about each other.
Lou Holtz for Congress? Can you imagine him giving the same kind of speeches he gives on SportsCenter? When you look as old as Lou you're supposed to have been in Congress for 30 years already. Somebody tell him football coaches can't run the country with Nextell direct connect.
Also, if you've never seen it, this is a good Republican site.
Lastly, if you're in the book buying mood (and have a little money), here are a couple of suggestions: The Almanac of American Politics and one of my favorites, On American Soil.
Finally, I'm not even going to sign this one. Just going to leave you with these two:
Stupid Cougs...
One Month. Gold Endzones.

I would have gone to bed hours ago if I hadn't started reading your blog, haha. I HATE IT when people are just talking over each other on TV, drives me nuts! Man, can the ESPYs consist of just a bunch of 10-minute introductions and nothing else? Cuz I love them. That Madlibs article :) is hilarious. And BOW DOWN TO WASHINGTON is right!!! I can't wait for the season! Less than a month! Woooo! :)
