Hi all. I was planning on waiting to do some blogging until later tonight since today is a pretty busy day at work and I am just cruising on four hours of sleep. After work today I'm heading to a co-workers 21-run as well, so rest has been little.

However, saw this on the front page of ESPN.com and had to pass it along. If it is still one of the main stories on ESPN then you can see the newspaper headline in the graphic. If not, just read the story. No real new information. Just another numbing reminder of how frustrating the finances of college athletics are. Even Whitney Hite's comment ("maybe if we were paying two football coaches...) is not surprising, but also narrow-minded and he knows it. That football program pays for swimming and if it isn't successful swimming doesn't exist anyway. At any rate, it is a good insight into what happens to these athletes
